Woody Harrelson is back at the Toronto Film Festival again this year with another quirky type of character part he has been playing the last few years. In DEFENDOR, Woody takes a stab at playing a superhero. The film has been playing to good buzz and since Harrelson’s performance a couple of years ago in the Oscar winning NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, he has been on a run with a string of good films. The TIFFinsider still couldn’t resist asking Woody about the prospects of a CHEERS reunion movie, or had one even ever been discussed. “Not that I had heard of.” quipped Woody. Would he do a CHEERS movie if one was offered? (thinking for second) “Probably not. I think we kind of covered everything on tv.”
