PARIS ISN’T BURNING
Everyone’s favourite party girl, Paris Hilton attended the premiere of her documentary last night, Paris, Not France in great spirits. Forget splitting the atom, the big question last night was: How does this girl party all night and not look hung over. The reality-TV star tells The Cadillac Insider, “I don’t drink a lot. People think I do, but I don’t. I dance it off.” Why don’t I believe her and why do I feel like I was just sold some swampland? As for her high-profile friendship with Nicole Richie, Hilton tells us their still BFFs. “She’s busy now that she’s a mom, but yes, we still talk a lot. Nicole makes me want to be a mom.” Be very afraid, people!
DEGRASSI MAKES A PORNO?
Not really, but close. Slacker director Kevin Smith may be in Toronto promoting his latest feel-good film, Zack and Miri Make a Porno but he’s more excited about directing an upcoming Degrassi: The Next Generation special episode shot in Hollywood co-starring Vivica A. Fox and Perez Hilton. “We’re going to Hollywood, and shooting celebrities in cameos,” he tells The Cadillac Insider. “Degrassi is my favourite show ever. And this is the pinnacle of my career to be able to helm this project again. Have you ever seen Degrassi?” Um, yeah, I have — I’m Canadian, Kevin! You didn’t discover Degrassi, Linda Schuyler did, buddy.
ET CANADA CELEBRATES
At their glam Casa Loma festival headquarters (seriously eTalk Daily — Much Music was the best you could do?), those gorgeous and very talented people at Entertainment Tonight celebrated their third anniversary in high style last night. In attendance? What Doesn’t Kill You’s Ethan Hawke, who was eyeing co-host Cheryl Hickey a little too much if you ask me. Didn’t the horn dog just have a kid with yet another new wife or something?
