09.10.08 — DAY 7: BROMANCES MAKE THE 33RD ANNUAL TORONTO FILM FESTIVAL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE FOR THIS REPORTER — NOT THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT OR ANYTHING.
BROS BEFORE HOES
Seriously, The Brothers Bloom stars Mark Ruffalo and Adrien Brody need to get a room. At the press junket for the film yesterday, the very affectionate duo couldn’t keep their hands off each other — there was nothing gloomy about this duo. Ruffalo literally straddled Brody at one point — and I became very jealous. At the movie’s premiere that night, the two co-stars continued their bromance/showmance for the press and basically made out. Or something close to it. Later, Ruffalo told me, “Adrien has that man power. The same power Brad Pitt has over seemingly straight men.” Later that day, Ruffalo spent three — count ‘em three — three hours shopping at Roots! Hmmm… wonder what he got Brody? My sources divulge a Roots sling.
